Meet the owner
Matthew Magga
Matthew Magga founded Orange County Night Lights in 2002 and still personally designs every system the company installs. For more than two decades, he has lit homes, HOA communities and commercial properties across Orange County, Long Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Matt starts every project the same way, with an after-dark visit to the property, where he sets up real fixtures so homeowners can see the result before they commit. He specifies solid brass fixtures built for coastal salt air, keeps color temperature warm and consistent, and focuses on lighting the architecture and landscape without glare. Matt holds a California contractor's license (CSLB #901505), and the company works from a shop on Product Lane in Huntington Beach, with the same crew from design through installation and service.

How we work
Owner-led, team-built
We take a limited number of projects at a time, so the design stays consistent from the first walkthrough to the final aim. No sales rep hand-off, no rotating subcontractors.
Design happens after dark
We plan at night, with real fixtures on your property.
We install what we specify
The fixture on the proposal is the fixture in the ground. No substitutions to protect a margin.
We answer the phone later
Most of our work comes from clients we installed for years ago.

Orange County Night Lights is owned and run by Matthew Magga out of our Huntington Beach shop at 15561 Product Ln, Ste D9. We hold California contractor's license #901505, carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance, and have designed, installed and serviced low-voltage outdoor lighting across Orange County and the surrounding coast for more than two decades.
