Frequently asked questions
- Can RGBW fixtures look like regular warm white lights most of the year?
- Yes. Because they have a dedicated white LED channel, the everyday color temperature looks natural — not a tinted mix of RGB. You only use color when you want it.
- Is the app complicated to use?
- No. Most clients use a simple app with preset scenes such as warm white, holiday red and green, and party color. We set it up, label each zone, and show you how to make quick changes.
- Do I need a separate transformer just for RGBW?
- Usually not. RGBW fixtures run on the same low-voltage transformers as your other LED landscape lights. We size the transformer for the total load and add a controller for the color zones.
